Our Leadership

Bishop Otis Alston

Raised in Hopkins South Carolina, Otis never imagined that he would one day preach the gospel. Before the death of his Beloved Grandmother, she prophesied to him that "one day he would preach the Word of God!"

In February 2007, after being called by God and sent out by his Pastor, he began New Life Christian Center, where he has grown and taken root in his ministry. Through this ministry, being used by God in many capacities, Bishop Alston's teachings and example has transformed lives!

Bishop Otis Alston has devoted his life to teaching and preaching the Word of God. God has given him a dynamic ministry of healing, deliverance and freedom through Christ Jesus. Bishop Alston was called to preach in 1997 and fulfilled that vision on his life with New Life Christian Center more than a decade later. One of his biggest accomplishments as a young minister was ministering the word of God to his family. He didn't stop until most of his family, including second and third cousins, got saved and baptized. Bishop Alston stands on the very Word of God, knowing that every believer needs to live a life free from being dominated by sin and bound with the enemy's tactics of control. His stance is, "If you live right, you do not have to seek things; they will come all on their own." He is a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather.

Proverbs 3:5-6 "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding."
